My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bailey will be at adoption event this Sunday June 26 at Petco in Southington from11-3pm .come down and meet her.
When you're the best of friends Having so much fun together You're not even aware, you're such a funny pair You're the best of friends Life's a happy game You could clown around forever Neither one of you sees your natural boundaries
Life's one happy game - from 'Best Of Friends' by Pearl Bailey
Baiely didn't start out with a happy life or a happy future. She was abandoned, neglected, unwanted, and unloved. Thankfully things turned around for her when she ended up at a crowded southern shelter. She was pulled into rescue and placed in a loving foster home...nothing but skin and bones. Baiely is now a happy healthy 8 month old red lab/hound mix who thinks everyone she meets is her best friend. She currently weighs 26 lbs and will likely be around 30 to 35 lbs when full grown. She is doing very well with her house training and is well behaved in her crate (some talking when she feels she should be with her human instead). Bailey is good on leash but does like to stop and take in her surroundings. This sweet baby adores the water. She is always the first one in for a swim and has figured out how to lounge around on a float. She is friendly with other dogs, happy to meet cats, and adores kids. She can be a bit shy initially with big people but warms up and gives lots of kisses in no time. Her foster mom says she is in constant happy mode even when she gets corrected she's happy. She greets her loved ones with an excited jump and wraps her paws around your arm for a big 'I love you' hug. Baily is happiest of all when she has a human friend at her side whether it be playing catch in the back yard or sitting quietly on the couch. Our adorable youngster is already spayed, micro chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, and current on preventatives. She is excitedly waiting to find her new forever loving home and family, but most of all....she's looking forward to being the best friend you'll ever have.
