Chase's Story...
Chase is a sweet boy who loves people. He is timid and will need patience to learn to trust his new family but is a huge snuggle bug when he knows that he can trust. He is potty trained, but he will need a fenced yard as he is learning to use a leash. He gets along with other dogs and would do best in a home with another dog, to show him the ropes. He does fine with children, he just doesn't want to be picked up, so a home with older children or no children is desired. He would be better in a home with no cats, as he tends to chase them. The adoption fee for dogs is $100 and includes spay/neuter, distemper and rabies vaccinations, deworming, microchip, and heartworm testing. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chase, a Des Moines Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian for sale in Des Moines, or seeking a Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Des Moines.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Des Moines already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Des Moines breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Des Moines paves the way for another one to be saved.
