Cooper's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Cooper's Story...
Cooper is an outgoing boy and energetic playful pup. He gets along with some dogs, but is unsure of cats and very interested in them and will give chase if they run. He warms up quickly to women, but is not fond of men at all, so he will need a lady or ladies to adopt and love him. He does well with kids but would do better in a home with older children. He is very happy to just hang out with his family. He is potty trained. He will need a yard that is fenced in because he is learning to wear a collar and use a leash to walk, but will need additional training. The adoption fee is $100 and includes spay/neuter, distemper and rabies vaccinations, deworming, heartworm testing, and microchip.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cooper, a Des Moines Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian for sale in Des Moines, or seeking a Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Des Moines.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Des Moines already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Des Moines breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Des Moines paves the way for another one to be saved.
