Sargent's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Sargent's Story...
Sargent, a 2 yr old Great Pyranese. He is the gentlest giant I have ever met. He gets along fabulously with all my other dogs, has been cat tested and children over 2 tested and did well. He is neutered and fully vetted, though he is very thin...nothing groceries and time won't fix. He arrived also very matted, so his coat has been shaved for a cool summer look, but will grow back in time for his 'fall' look.

If you are interested in meeting and thinking about adoption, please visit our website, http//www.wagginghearts.org, and submit a completed adoption application. Due to the high volume of applications we receive we are only able to process fully completed applications. All applications are processed in the order that they are received. On our website you will also find our adoption process and fees. Since we are a foster based rescue we are unable to set up meet and greets until a completed application is on file and has been approved.

Wagging Hearts is a foster-based, non-profit rescue organization.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sargent, a Hainesville Great Pyrenees dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees for sale in Hainesville, or seeking a Great Pyrenees dog from a breeder in Hainesville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hainesville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hainesville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hainesville paves the way for another one to be saved.
