About Gentle Giants of Georgia Rescue /MA Chapter

About Our Rescue Group...

We are located in Georgia and work hard to rescue the dogs and puppies who are in bad situations and send them to loving families in the northeast. For the animals here in Georgia, transport to a northeastern safe haven is there only chance right now. Please help us in our efforts.

Our Adoption Process...

Our process begins with an application that must be submitted as the first step. If an application appears to be a match for the particular dog or puppy, we arrange for a time to discuss it over the phone. Once the phone interview takes place and we feel that it is a good match, we arrange for a meet and greet IF the dog is fostered in the northeast, but not many are! After that, references are checked and you will be contacted via email that you've been approved for adoption. At this time the adoption contract and the link to pay the adoption fee will be sent to you. Upon approval of application, the adoption fee of $475 for puppies and $425 for adults is due immediately, $150 of this is classed as a non refundable deposit should you change your mind. The application review process can take up to a week depending on the volume of applications, dogs/puppies available, and number of volunteers available. Most of our volunteers work full time jobs, so sometimes it is the following weekend before applicants are contacted. We make every attempt to let you know the status of your application, but sometimes we cannot if there is an over abundance of apps for one dog or puppy; in this case, we will publish the status of the dog you applied for online on our adopt a pet website. We do NOT have paid staff. We are an ALL VOLUNTEER organization. Your patience is appreciated.
