Facts about Tom

Color: Tiger Striped
already neutered, up to date with shots, not good with dogs, and good with cats.
I am already neutered, up to date with shots, not good with dogs, and good with cats.
Tom was spotted off and on all winter by rangers in a nearby state park and was finally found living in the window well of the administration building there. A kind employee picked him up and brought him home, but he did not get along with the resident dog and so brought him to us in the hope that he could find a better fit. He is a very loving cat who loves nothing better than to walk around with his toy mouse in his mouth like a pacifier. There are no kids in his foster home, so it's uncertain how he would be with them, but given his disposition he would probably be wonderful with them. He is approximately 1 yr. old as of 11/11/16.
We are a small group of volunteers who try to alleviate the overpopulation of cats in our county through a Trap/Neuter/Release program for feral cats, by offering a spay/neuter voucher program and by taking in and adopting out as many kittens/cats as our foster program permits. Our county has no shelter for cats, and we receive no financial help from our county, so we rely entirely on membership fees, donations, grants, and fund raising events. We do this all on a volunteer basis because we care deeply about the welfare of the cats in our area.
