Meet Breenan (aka Dawson):
Brennan was adopted as a puppy, but due to life circumstances his family was unable to keep him. His perfect match in a new home would have a secure fence and another secure dog in the home so that he could follow their lead. He has all of these things in his foster home and is doing beutifully when at home. However, He is extremely shy with ALL new situations and he will need someone patient to help him overcome his fears over time. Apartment living would not be a good fit for him at this time.
He loves to play with adults and dogs. If he has another dog to play with he will romp with them a good portion of the day. He goes in his crate willingly, is quiet and well behaved while in his 'den'. He also takes his meals in there.
Brennan LOVES to swim! He walked right into his foster family's pool and just started swimming around. Now the other dogs will circle the pool edge while he swims to ensure he's 'OK'.
Brennan can be a bit shy when he 1st meets you and he likes to check you out to make sure all is OK. He will get anxious with unusual noises and will try to hide if he feels vulnerable. However, he will be your best friend for life once he is comfortable with you. He is very affectionate and loves to be petted once a bond if formed with his people. He is not a big barker and really wants to please his people.
Brennen needs a family that won't leave him behind again. Do you think you could be the forever home he's looking for?
