Hey, I’m Apollo! I’m a 2 ½ year old black male Dane with natural ears. I’m a great guy looking for a great home to call my own. I’m good with other dogs, and cats too! I’m also good with kids – I’ve been living with a 9 year old and a 16 year old. I know all of my basic commands and am housebroken. I am also crate trained. I can be destructive when I’m left home alone, so the crate is probably the best place for me when you need to go out. I also have a little anxiety, so that doesn’t help much in those situations. I love going for walks and I do really well on a leash with either a harness or a gentle leader. In fact, I love being outside so much I have been known to dart out of doors that haven’t been shut properly, so keep an eye out just in case. Oh! And I love going camping and anything to do with water!

I think that about covers the important things, but let’s get together to see if we could be the perfect family!

About Rocky Mountain Great Dane Rescue, Inc

About Our Rescue Group...

RMGDRI is a group of volunteers concerned with the welfare of Great Danes. Every day, we save the lives of Great Danes by funding their medical care, advanced surgical treatments, spay/neuters, food and shelter.

As part of our mission, RMGDRI firmly believes that it is our responsibility to do all that we can for every Dane that comes into our haven, into our care.

Rocky Mountain Great Dane Rescue, Inc. is recognized as a major resource for the welfare of homeless, abandoned and abused companion animals

Our goal is to lower euthanasia rates in our region by:

1. Bringing adoptable pets into our program for medical and social rehabilitation and re-homing.

2. Providing resources to pet owners to encourage their responsibility and commitment to their pets and prevent them from contributing to the homeless pet population.

We want to continue to be a valuable resource to our community. We believe that one person can make the difference in the life of an animal in need, so as an organization, we have more strength to help more animals.
