Chevy's Story...
Hi folks! I'm Chevy and I'm healthy, very active 20 pound girl (full grown!) with a lot of love to give! I'm getting really good at going potty outside and I love to play with other dogs and with toys (I try to play with the kitty but she's a bully!), especially stuffed toys. I would be a great candidate for agility training, and I'm kennel trained too! My foster mommy loves me a lot and gets lots of videos, she can't wait for my forever family to find me!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chevy, a Vancouver Scottie, Scottish Terrier/Schnauzer (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Scottie, Scottish Terrier/Schnauzer (Miniature) for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Scottie, Scottish Terrier/Schnauzer (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Scottie, Scottish Terrier/Schnauzer (Miniature) breeders who help with Scottie, Scottish Terrier/Schnauzer (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
