Alice's Story...
Precious Alice is a 9 week old orange tabby kitten who is looking for a new home to call her own! She was brought to the shelter after being found as a stray, and was never reclaimed. She is just now starting to develop her own personality, and is just as sweet as can be! She loves to play with toys, especially the kind with little bells in them. She'll dart around and pounce on the other kittens and is just too cute! When she's tired out from all the playing, her favorite place to nap is snuggled up on your lap. She is still young and should quickly adjust to living with other cats, dogs, and kids of all ages. She is microchipped, and up-to-date on her vaccinations, and will be spayed once adopted. Come by today and visit wonderful miss Alice! We are open every day from 12-6.

**Alice will have to stay to be spayed once adopted. You will be able to pick her up after her procedure- usually it's just a few days wait.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alice, a Benbrook Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Benbrook, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Benbrook.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Benbrook already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Benbrook breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Benbrook paves the way for another one to be saved.
