Sparky, a 3 ½ year old Pomerania / Long Hair Chihuahua mix needs a foster or a permanent home. Sparky was in a home with an elderly woman but was returned to the rescue due to his separation anxiety which cause some whining when his owner left the house. With some training, this whining will go away and his true adorable self will appear once again.

He’s a sweetie who just needs your love and attention. He’s desperate to get to a home where he can be the spotlight. Sparky isn’t much interested in the other dog at his current place, but he likes their cat. A great dog to share your favorite television shows with, he’d love to sit in your lap and snuggle with you.

Sparky is healthy, fully vetted, neutered, and up to date on his shots. Please don’t let your new cuddle bug slip you by!

Please contact Deb at contact! We’re sure sparks will fly when you meet your new furbaby, Sparky!

About A Wecome Home Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

A Welcome Home Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit created to help the homeless, hurt and/or abandoned animals. Our end goal is to place each animal in a permanent, loving home where all their needs will be met. We believe every animal deserves humane treatment. We believe in our role as caretakers, protecting those who cannot defend themselves, speaking for those who cannot speak for themselves.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Because we are not a shelter, do not have a boarding facility, and are not connected with any other agency, we always welcome foster homes where animals can stay temporarily. We also welcome all tax-deductible donations from individuals or foundations.
No donation is too small.

Our Adoption Process...

To Do All We Can to Aid in the Rescue, Safety and Welfare of Stray and Abandoned Animals to end as much suffering as possible.

We realize we cannot save the world … but we can try by working with each rescued animal on an individual basis.
