Hello everybody I'm Muffin. I'm an older and more sophisticated girl (vet thinks between 8-10 years old but what do they know?) I am living with my fabulous foster family in Cocoa, FL! My foster family also calls me Moofy or Moofin. I am now spayed so no more babies for me! My foster family tells everyone that I'm so sweet and loving. But don't tell anyone. It will ruin my 'grumpy dog image' with my huge underbite. I'm not fond of my crate and will pant at first but eventually I just lay down and relax. Most of the time I get to go to work with my foster family. They spoil me and I get to meet all types of people.

I'm only weighing in at 80 pounds right now but my foster family says my bmi is a little under what it should be right now. When I'm all done catching up on some lost meals I should be a full figured beauty weighing in at 90-95 pounds. I don't mind smaller dogs, but girls my size.... I have to make sure they are going to like me. Once I know they aren't jealous or out to get me, we are ok. I don't do well with bossy dogs. I'm a queen and after all I've been through, I'm going to retain this status. I've also met a few cats in my life, never really paid them attention.

My foster family has 3 two legged children and boy can they be loud! Especially if they have friends over! I'm not sure how my foster parents do it but I love the children. All of them. I just love all people!

Don't tell anyone but I don't worry to much about my health! Exercise! Haha, who has time for that when you could just take a nap or eat!!! I get a little excited over food....what girl doesn't? I do a dance when it is time to eat and get so excited I start sneezing all over the place! My foster family laughs so much when I do this.

I love car rides and going to work with foster mom and dad. I do know how to sit, but that's about it. If you haven't noticed I have the most desirable under bite! I am told it is the best! Well I need a nap after all this but I was told to get myself out there so people can see me!

Much love! xoxo xoxo

PLEASE READ: Adopters will not be considered without completing an application. Please visit www.AmericanBulldogRescue.org to apply! It is our policy at American Bulldog Rescue not to place the same gender dogs in a home.  Adoptions are most successful and harmonious with opposite genders. Please also note: No one will be considered without first submitting an adoption application. Our dogs are in homes and only approved adopters can meet them. Once approved, you can meet any dog you like that would be a good fit for you/your family.

To be considered for adoption, you must apply using our free, online application. Our dogs are fostered in our volunteers' homes, not in a central shelter/location. Only approved applicants are put into contact with the foster family to setup a meeting with the foster dog. Visit our Adoption Policies web page for more information and a link to our application: http://americanbulldogrescue.org/adoption-policies/.

Our Adoption Process...

To adopt one of our love-a-bull dogs, you must submit an application on our website at www.americanbulldogrescue.org. Applications must meet minimum requirements (policies are listed our site). Applicants have their vet and personal references checked . The next step is a home visit by one of our volunteers. Finally, the applicant will be put in touch with the foster family to arrange to meet the dog! If a happy match is made, the applicants sign an adoption contract and provide an adoption donation. The donation is usually $400.
