Ginny's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Ginny's Story...
Ginny has quite the following since we took her at 6 weeks old. All of her siblings passed from cold temperatures when their mother had the litter out in the woods. This little girl was born without one rear foot, has only 3 toes on the other rear foot and lost 1/2 of her tail to frost bite. Despite her disability she can run and play with 3 dogs and cats she is being fostered with. Miss Ginny is now in her second puppy class and her foster is doing an amazing job with socialization and training. ACT V has consulted with a prosthetician about having a leg prosthetic applied after she is full grown. She is now going up for adoption with the understanding we will pay for a leg extension if needed.
Ginny needs to continue her classes after adoption as she has fears of new people/things, and needs to stay in close contact with ACT V as she grows. If you would like to meet this sweet girl and fill out an application on line, please contact us at info@actvrescue.org.
Adoption fee is $375.00 plus tax. Inquiries with in 60 minutes of the Minneapolis area and 30 min within Rochester area only.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ginny, a Bloomington German Shepherd Dog/Husky puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Husky for sale in Bloomington, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Husky puppy from a breeder in Bloomington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bloomington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bloomington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Husky breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bloomington paves the way for another one to be saved.
