Niko's Story...
Poodle + Bichon Frise Mix
7 months old

11 pounds

Nickname: Wiggle worm and Niko the Magnificent!

Favorite Activities: Hanging around with my puppy pals is my idea of a good time. I’m still just a pup so I need someone willing to take me on daily walks to help get some of that puppy energy out. After an adventure filled day some cuddle time on the couch wouldn’t be so bad.

Pet Peeves: Quick moves and loud noises aren’t my thing so a home with kids 10+ and is a must.

Come in and meet me so we can get to know each other better!

My adoption fee is $240 and includes microchip & registration, neuter, reduced-cost training class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Niko, a Portland Poodle (Miniature)/Bichon Frise dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature)/Bichon Frise for sale in Portland, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature)/Bichon Frise dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature)/Bichon Frise breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature)/Bichon Frise rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
