Bam Bam's Story...
*Single male guinea pig
*Gray roan and white
*Approximately 8 months old as of 6/2016
-Bam Bam was surrendered to Judge's Park because his family couldn't keep him anymore. Bam Bam is in foster and is doing well! Here is what his foster mom has to say, "He is afraid to be lifted but I've been using a Timothy hay hut to lift him and he's quite chill if you do it that way. He's really a delightful guy. He likes to be held just not lifted up. I lift him in the hut and then take him out and he lets me hold him, kiss him, and cuddle. He comes out and hangs with me in his cage when I'm in the room cleaning and getting ready for bed and such." He's a good boy and he's still very young, so he will be a great piggy for pretty much anyone!
Bam Bam can be adopted out as a companion for a submissive male, as a single piggy, or he can also be neutered and bonded in with females. Adoption fee is $20 for a single and $35 for a pair.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bam Bam, a Edinburg Guinea Pig was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Guinea Pig for sale in Edinburg, or seeking a Guinea Pig from a breeder in Edinburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Edinburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Edinburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Guinea Pig breeders who help with Guinea Pig rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Edinburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
