Milo's Story...
Introducing Milo.

Milo is the kind of dog you root for...and underdog, a Rudy Ruettiger. He was at Memphis Animal Services, sitting there with his siblings and wanting to be noticed. We walked past a few kennels and saw his face, just staring back at us. Precious and gentle.

We brought him into the rescue and that's when his real journey began. He came to us with a large abscess in his leg, a skin infection and the sniffles. Milo spent a few days going back and forth to the vet, got excellent care and, above all, got the kind of love and care at his foster home that we pray for our dogs to have. His foster family doted, bathed, medicated, loved him well. He went from down and out to a family with kids, other dogs, Saturday night scrabble, neighborhood kids, walks....everything a little puppy needs to get well and know love.

Milo is ready for his forever home. His adoption fee is $500 and includes is neuter surgery, microchip, all up to date vaccinations, deworming and heart worm preventative. It also includes his health certificate exam and transportation from his foster home in Memphis to your area, upon adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Milo, a Eden Prairie Boxer/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Labrador Retriever for sale in Eden Prairie, or seeking a Boxer/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Eden Prairie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Eden Prairie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Eden Prairie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Boxer/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Eden Prairie paves the way for another one to be saved.
