Gracie's Story...
Hello my name is Gracie I’m a 13 year old Shih Tzu mix. My foster mama saw me on Facebook that I needed help. She reached out to Charlies wish and now I’m getting the correct medical care. I went to see a very nice Dr vet she told us I have dry eye and infection. I’m currently on 3 meds for my eyes 2 will need the rest of my life. I also had some bloodwork done and need another antibiotic. I have been tested for Cushings , have a lump checked out and vax. So as you can see I’m a bit high maintance. I also require regular grooming. Don’t let my age fool you I still have energy for walks and love to hang out with my foster brothers and sisters. I love older kids that can be gentle I live with an 8 year old I love. If you interested in adopting me you can either wait until the dr. figures out my condition or you can take over the rest of the progress.

Gracie's adoption fee is $200.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gracie, a Pataskala Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Pataskala, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Pataskala.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pataskala already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pataskala breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pataskala paves the way for another one to be saved.
