Facts about RITSA

  • Breed: Cattle Dog Mix
  • Color: White - With Red, Golden, Orange Or Chestnut
  • Age: Young
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Female
Ritsa is about 3 yrs of age, spayed, vaccines up to date and microchipped. Weighing around 17kg (38 lbs). A little on the shy side but her rescuer says she reflects a good and easily adaptable character. Being a stray, her new family's love, patience and guidance will be required so she can feel comfortable in her new home. Lastly, Ritsa is taking Doxycycline for 28 days as she tested positive for Ehrlichia (from the ticks). Once adopted it is highly recommended that she be on the flea/tick/heartworm preventative program during the months of June through October to avoid her getting reinfected by ticks. If you'd like to adopt Ritsa, please email diannealdan@sympatico.ca for an adoption application.

About Tails from Greece Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a small Canadian-registered charity who rehomes dogs who've come from Greece, providing them with vet care and other needs on arrival; for example, wheelchair cart, full blood work, hip replacement surgery, spay/neuter surgery etc. We are always in need of donations (which are tax receiptable if from within Canada) as we spend anywhere between $25,--- - $35,000 on vet care annually. It's a very rewarding effort, having rehomed over 330 dogs and a few cats.
