RIO's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, and up to date with shots.

RIO's Story...
Rio is just over 8 months of age and we think a mix of Spaniel and Black Lab (but who really knows for sure with a stray). He's up to date with vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. He'll be fully vetted prior to joining his new family. Gets along with other dogs and cats. Still very much a puppy so will require some work by his new pack leaders to mature into a well-mannered adult dog. If you'd like to adopt Rio, please emaill diannealdan@sympatico.ca for an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

RIO, a Toronto Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever for sale in Toronto, or seeking a Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Toronto.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toronto already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toronto breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toronto paves the way for another one to be saved.
