Facts about FLIPPE

  • Breed: Shepherd (Unknown Type) Mix
  • Color: Black - With Tan, Yellow Or Fawn
  • Age: Senior
  • Size: Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
  • Sex: Male
Filippe, a middle-aged Shepherd mix, weighs about 28kg and is about 7 yrs young. He's vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. He is healthy, active, very friendly and affectionate with all people as well as protective with the people who take care of him. He is not fond of other dogs, especially males, so a home without other pets is needed. Also, a home in the country would suit him best. He is calm when being walked, obedient and very co-operative to his pack leaders. Filippe is deserving of a loving home for his senior years so we hope one will come along for him. Yes, there are some restrictions to find the right fit but we'll keep our fingers crossed that someone will recognize him as their dog. If interested in adopting Filippe, please email diannealdan@sympatico.ca for an application.

About Tails from Greece Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a small Canadian-registered charity who rehomes dogs who've come from Greece, providing them with vet care and other needs on arrival; for example, wheelchair cart, full blood work, hip replacement surgery, spay/neuter surgery etc. We are always in need of donations (which are tax receiptable if from within Canada) as we spend anywhere between $25,--- - $35,000 on vet care annually. It's a very rewarding effort, having rehomed over 330 dogs and a few cats.
