Lucky Lady's Story...
Up for adoption: Lucky Lady! A very loyal, low key beauty!

She can be adopted in Texas.

Lucky Lady is about 8 years old and 75 pounds. She is an incredibly sweet, loyal girl! She loves to follow her people around and stay by their side. She makes a great companion and just wants to snuggle. She is great with cats and has a very low key temperament in general. She is good on leash, but does not like to go on long walks as she has some arthritis. She can be nervous around other dogs at first, but then warms up to them. She would do best in a home with older laid back dogs, or no other dogs. She is house and crate trained, but at her age does not need the crate. Lucky Lady is an absolute gem who would be a wonderful dog for a family looking for an easy, laid back girl!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucky Lady, a Austin Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Austin, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
