DJ's Story...
Hi! My name is DJ.
I am a handsome, very affectionate two year old boy. I have long fur, pale green eyes and big paws! I love affection and having my head petted and scratched. I am very curious and like being on a high perch to watch whatever you do.

I like other cats and dogs but I was used to a quieter home and small active children stress when they talk and make lots of noise and I just want to hide. I was surrendered when my owner moved and could not take me.

I would love a quieter home with someone that will love me forever.

If you are interested in adopting me, I am chilling at a foster home before going into Etobicoke Petsmart next week.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

DJ, a Oakville Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Oakville, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Oakville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oakville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oakville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oakville paves the way for another one to be saved.
