Rusty's Story...
Rusty is a super sweet and energetic 6 year old 5lb Pomchi. He came to us from a busy shelter after he was surrendered. Rusty was not in great shape. He was taken immediately to the vet for urgent care. He received his shots and vetting. The next day he was brought into surgery to be neutered and have 14 teeth removed. Yes you read that correctly, 14 teeth. He is a trooper and bounces around the house like a puppy. Since Rusty is small he has a bit of a Napoleon complex, therefore he must be adopted into an adult only home without other animals. He has a bit of a temper when he is restrained because he likes to be the one in charge. He is a super sweet cuddle bug though who loves to be carried around. When he isn't napping he loves to run around the back yard. He also has a few tricks up his paw, but you will have to meet him to figure them out. Could you be the perfect home for him???? RUSTY IS ONLY AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION IN NEW JERSEY!!!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rusty, a Cranford Pomeranian/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian/Chihuahua for sale in Cranford, or seeking a Pomeranian/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Cranford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cranford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cranford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian/Chihuahua breeders who help with Pomeranian/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cranford paves the way for another one to be saved.
