This amazing guy will make a great family pet. He is a love. He loves to ride. He loves to go for walks. He is great off leash too. He loves other dogs and cats. He loves kids. He is a great all around dog. He is just the sweetest boy it's difficult for me to say enough great things about him. He does have a touch of separation anxiety so it would be amazing if he could find a home where someone is home with him most of the day or where he could go to work with his owner. He would be perfect on a construction site or in an office. He's just "that" dog that you can take anywhere. And to top it off he's a great size at only about 35 pounds. Don't let him get away. He is exactly what you been looking for.
This pup has received at least 2 sets of Distemper/Parvo vaccines, 1 Bordetella vaccine. It has been wormed at least twice and has been spayed/neutered. It is currently on Flea/tick prevention and Heartworm prevention. If the pup is over 6 months of age it has also been tested for Heartworms. If the pup tested positive for heartworms, we treat them before they leave for their forever homes. Please email Jennifer at jenniferjmcbride@aol.com for an adoption application or if you have questions about this pup. This pup’s adoption fee is $400 which covers all the vetting mentioned above plus the extra vet visit and Interstate Health Certificate required for the pup to travel and the transport fee charged by the transport company that will transport this adopted pup from the South to his/her forever home in the North. We use a few different transport companies to help accommodate our adopters.

About KEG Animal Rescue - CT

About Our Rescue Group...

KEG Rescue was started in 2009 and became a Chartered Non Profit on May 28, 2010. It started as a few people wanting to help the many unwanted puppies and dogs in our area. We are one of many rescues in this area as there are so many homeless pets. All our rescues have a common goal of educating the public about the importance of pet ownership and the benefits of spay/neuter

We do this by private adoptions from our site and also partner with other rescues in New England. We believe that these "throw aways" and "mistakes" deserve a forever home of their own.

WE receive our pups/dogs in many ways- we pull from several kill shelters, dogs that are abandoned, and from people who call who need to surrender their own dogs or whose dogs have had puppies. We also focus on not only the many puppies that are down south we also focus on adults that sometimes are harder to place because of their age/size. It is very easy to fall in love with the puppy face but there are even more adult dogs that are abandoned down south

Come Meet Our Pets...

The puppy/dog you inquired about is still in a southern foster home.

Our Adoption Process...

KEG Rescue is a small rescue . We work with several rescue group from New England to help adopt our pups/dogs and move them into GREAT homes. New England states have worked hard to pass great laws concerning spay/neuter. By passing these laws they there aren't as many "unwanted litters" in the New England States. There are several transport companies that bring southern rescue pups north to their new homes. KEG Rescue utilizes P.E.T.S LLC
( you can check out their transport by visiting their website http://www.petsllc.org/index.php)

Our adoptions are directly thru our website (although we do hope to expand to foster homes in New England if possible). it’s not possible to arrange a meeting of the pup before adoption. This type of adoption doesn't work for everyone and we would be happy to put you in touch with some of our sister groups who have pups on site. The adoption fee covers all of the vet work that has been performed prior to adoption. All of our pets are spayed/neutered, vaccinated as age appropriate. If you are still interested in adopting from us, please email for an application. We have several adoption coordinators that process the applications and will contact you.
