Ingrid's Story...
Hey, Ingrid is a star for sure in her foster home but she has actually appeared on TV. She had a spot on Ch. 24 promoting adoption, maybe not famous but… She is one of 5 kittens in her litter (approximate DOB 4/22/16), the 3 sisters are nearly identical beautiful gray tabbies. They look so much alike each has a different color hair tie around her neck to distinguish her from her sisters. And, she’s affectionate, happy, and entertaining to beat the band. All you have to do is pick her up and she begins to purr. She’s a faithful litter box user and seems o.k. with the dogs in her foster home. This little dudette will be an exciting addition to any home. If you are interested in meeting or adopting Ingrid, please contact her foster, Judy S at judyszewczak@hotmail.com or 419-464-6105 .

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ingrid, a Toledo Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Toledo, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Toledo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toledo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toledo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toledo paves the way for another one to be saved.
