Tanks family loves him very much but one of the other family dogs has decided he does not love Tank and he was badly injured in a fight between the two. They had hoped it was a fluke and that the relationship could be repaired but then it happened again. They relize as a purebred Tank has the better chance of being adopted. This is breaking thier hearts but they don't want to risk him being injured again and he is not happy not being part of the family. If you can make him part of your family please consider a meet and greet!
Meet TANK!! , he is a full blooded beagle with papers. Neutered, micro chipped, on heart worm and flea medicine. He is completely house trained and will not go inside. He is 7 years old and has lots of life left in him. Tank does great with kids and he is used to being around dogs and is fine with all of our dogs except 1 that is too much for him to handle. Tank walks on a leash well and Is also ok just hanging out in a backyard. He does not do the typical beagle howl but can if you howl to get him going. But once again does not howl all night long or during the day at all. He just wants to be lazy and hangout and get attention which we can't do with having the other dogs. Tank needs to be with a one dog owner or with a submissive dog that won't hurt him. Also if you want to adopt him and you take him, and he is not working out then we will gladly take him back and find him another home that's a good match. We love and care about him so much and truly do just want someone who will also love him like we do!

About West Side Animal League

About Our Rescue Group...

West Side Animal League is a volunteer organization that rescues animals from various Fort Worth area shelters. We strive to accomplish our goal of responsible pet ownership by raising public awareness of the need to spay and neuter pets and holding adoption events, spending quality time socializing the animals and in many cases bringing them into our homes as fosters until they can find their own fur-ever home.

We provide vaccinations and medical care as funds are available. 100% of our expenses are covered by donations and adoption fees. We are only able to accomplish this through the generosity of both time and money from others who also want to make the world a better place for our furry friends. If you would like to find out about opportunities to help, call our League line at 817-565-8222 or go to our meetup site at www.meetup.com/West-Side-Pet-Adoption-Meetup-Group. Thank you for your support as we continue Working to Save Animal Lives!

Our Adoption Process...

Adoption fee ($150.00 for dogs & $100 for cats) is for an already-altered pet or a voucher to get the pet altered and up to date on all shots. An adoption form will be required along with an agreement to have the pet altered within 30 days (or by 6 months of age).
