Nugget's Info...

I am already neutered and up to date with shots.

Nugget's Story...
Social 2.5 year old who loves lap-time and lots of walks.

Nugget spent about a month in a foster home, so we know a lot about him.
He is very affectionate and easily warms up to new people. He is great on walks. He was good around any female dogs (any size), but seems to take more time with male dogs. He was a 'perfect dog' overall, but the best home for him includes someone who can spent a lot of time with him as he has some separation anxiety. He is almost completely potty-trained. SBCAS recently have him a teeth cleaning, so he is almost like new again !

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nugget, a Goleta Mixed Breed (Small)/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Mixed Breed (Small)/Chihuahua for sale in Goleta, or seeking a Mixed Breed (Small)/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Goleta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Goleta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Goleta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Mixed Breed (Small)/Chihuahua breeders who help with Mixed Breed (Small)/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Goleta paves the way for another one to be saved.
