Liam ID#340539 is a male, 2-year old American Staffordshire Terrier & Plott Hound blend weighing about 45 lbs. He is such a good boy ... very sweet, loves people and is quiet and well-mannered. He loves going for walks and is a favorite with our volunteer dog walkers! He is good with other dogs, especially dogs of a more submissive nature; however, a meet and greet with current dogs in the household is recommended, just to make sure they all want to be friends. He does best with other dogs who are calm-natured and at least medium or large in size. Liam also rides well in a car. He's very eager to please. He is one of San Antonio Pets Alive's long-term-stays. He REALLY needs someone to give him his second chance at a great forever! Below ... Liam describes himself in his own words ...
"Do you enjoy playing at the beach in summer? How about meandering through the wild flowers in the spring? Cuddling on the sofa to keep away the winter blues? I love all of these things too and would be the perfect guy to join you! I'm a fun loving, and active 3 year old Plott Hound/Staffy blend that has been waiting a year for my special someone to come along. I am a sweetheart of a dog, and I absolutely love people. I love going for walks and I am a healthy guy- watching what I eat to keep my coat nice and healthy (grain free food for me please!). Everyday I look out from my kennel, just hoping that my special someone will come along and get to know me. Will that special someone be you?"
