I am housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Bear's Story...
Bear is a happy-go-lucky lab/corgi mix born in June 2014. He's never met a stranger, loves kids and other dogs and is a bit of a clown.

He's housebroken, has very good manners and is equally happy getting loves or going off to take a nap or entertain himself.

He is looking for his forever home after narrowly escaping euthanization at a high-kill shelter and would make an amazing best friend for the right family. (and yes, he has four legs - he just has that one paw drawn up in the pic!)

His adoption fee is 175 and includes age-appropriate shots, worming, microchip and neuter at our vet. An approved application is required, as is an adoption contract.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bear, a Torrington Corgi/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi/Labrador Retriever for sale in Torrington, or seeking a Corgi/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Torrington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Torrington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Torrington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Corgi/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Torrington paves the way for another one to be saved.
