Hailee's Info...

Hailee's Story...
Hailee is a petite 36 pound, 2 year old female Labrador Retriever mix.

She is spayed, up to date on all shots and completely house trained. She is very well mannered and loves to please. She is comfortable being in her crate for short periods of time. Hailee is a laidback,
sweet girl that likes to be near her people. She loves to relax under the desk while you work or sleep on the couch while you watch TV. She has a slight snore that will make you sleepy too :). She follows her foster mom throughout her day and quietly settles herself wherever she goes. She enjoys walks to explore the park. She walks beside you and never tugs on her leash. She loves to take a splash in creeks or the pool.

Hailee is in a foster home with several Bichon Frises and gets along well with them. She also loves to pal around with another Lab that lives nearby.

Hailee can be a little shy in new situations and with new people. She needs reassurance to know she’s in a safe place. Because of some of Hailee’s life experiences she is fearful of men. With time and care Hailee will be the ideal companion. Bad weather makes her nervous so she needs to be crated or be near you for reassurance.

Hailee has completed heartworm treatment. She is a very healthy dog with lots of love and kisses to give her new devoted family. She is available through http://www.luckylabrescue.com/.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hailee, a Austin Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Austin, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
