Bingo's Story...

Bingo is a 40lb, 18 month old Aussie/Lab mix. He is wonderful with a variety of other dogs in his foster home. Bingo is housebroken and crate trained. His foster mom is also impressed he doesn't try to chew on anything he shouldn't and has shown no resource guarding. Bingo is a bit fearful of the leash or harness being put on but we are working with him associating those things positively; once on he is fine with them. He will arrive to Maryland as soon as we have some open fosters up here to take him.  Bingo is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped with an adoption fee of $300.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bingo, a Jarrettsville Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever for sale in Jarrettsville, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Jarrettsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jarrettsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jarrettsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jarrettsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
