Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello- My name is Addie I am a 1 year old Japanese Chin mix. I am a tiny 7 pound ball of love. I am currently in a home with my foster mom and dad and 2 of their daughters one is 10 the other is 17. I really like all of them. They have 2 dogs of their own that have accepted me and me them. We all play really well together. I sometimes I growl at them if they get a little rough. It's because I am gentle, not too hyper puppy and this Is how I let them know. I get a little frightened by the hand sometimes if it comes at me too fast. I am getting better and starting to know I am safe here. I wouldn't hurt anyone trying to pet me I just jump back to let you know I am a little scared. My foster mom is super excited that I am pretty much potty trained. I have been with them for a couple weeks with no accidents inside, YAY ME!!! I have even scratched at the back door to tell them I wanted outside. But now, I have the doggie door down pat! I love to run and play in the back yard so a fenced in yard is a must. My foster family has not tried me on a leash yet, it's been too hot for a walk. My foster mom started crating me when I first arrived but soon realized I was a good girl and can be trusted. I now sleep in her bed or with their 10yr old daughter. YAY ME AGAIN!! I keep overhearing my foster family and they say I am going to make a family so happy they decided to adopt me and love me forever!!!!! Addie is spayed, is up to date on her shots and rabies vaccine, is on heartworm preventative, de-wormed and microchipped. Addie’s adoption fee is $300. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS. Out of state adopters are responsible for arranging transport, WE DO NOT SHIP DOGS. For events calendar and adoption application please go to our website at aaprescue.org.
