Meet Greg, also known as Biggie! ! He is a 7-8 year old, male Chihuahua/Pug mix and weighs about 15lbs. Biggie was rescue from the shelter and is looking for a new family to relax and live out his life with.

Biggie is an easy, mellow and well behaved dog. He just walks around looking adorable and loves to be a “floor potato”. We say floor potato because Biggie does not jump on furniture. He loves attention and is sweet and affectionate. He also gets along with other dogs. He just goes with the flow and is very unassuming. Biggie also uses a dog door to go outside and is housebroken.

Biggie is a very sweet dog but every once in a while he will snap if you do something sudden that he does not like. He doesn’t mean any harm but because of this, he needs to be in an adult or older teen home.

Please contact Pattee at 951 757-9689 to find out more about Biggie

About Treasured Tails LA

About Our Rescue Group...

Welcome to Treasured Tails Canine Rescue. We are a volunteer based non profit 501c3 all breed dog rescue focusing on the animal shelters of Southern California. The dogs we save from shelters are the ones in danger of euthanasia. Highly adoptable dogs lose their lives due to many reasons. Shelter over crowding, an easily treatable medical condition or injury, a dog who is extremely shy or frightened in the shelter environment or in many cases the dog is simply in need of a make over at the groomers. Once a dog enters our rescue he/she goes into a foster home where we can get to know that dog better which allows us to match the dog up with the right family.

Our Mission
To be the bridge between shelter and loving home.

Our Adoption Process...

Adoption Process
Our dogs are as unique as you are! Adding a new family member is an important decision that will bring years of enjoyment to both human and canine. Our adoption process helps us match the right dog up to the right home. Adoption process is as follows:
-First we like to talk on the phone to determine if the dog you are interested in might be a good match.
-If so, we send out an application via email to be filled out and returned by potential adopter(s).
-Next step is meet n greet with all members of household both human and canine.
-Homecheck to make sure yard is safe and secure
-Adoption

All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped with lifetime registration, rabies, dewormed, and up to date on their vaccinations. Adoption fee is $200 for adults and $250 for puppies under 6 months. We adopt out to Southern California only.
