If an animal is still posted for adoption, he/she is still available. If you see this this post, she is available for adoption so there is no need to email us for availability. We do not have an actual building so there are no viewing hours. All of our animals are cared for in foster homes. Meet Striper, he was born around 5-6-2016, and will be ready to go to their new homes on July 1st when they are 8 weeks. He and his siblings were found outside under a local deck when they were about 4 weeks old. Sadly mom was hit by a car. He is friendly, loving, and super playful so so lots of toys is a must. He uses the kitty box like a champ. Is good with other kitties, but he hasn't been exposed to dogs. Given the young age, we're sure he would adjust very well to a cat friendly dog in the home. He is being fostered in a home in Shorewood, Illinois, which is where you would go to meet him with an approved adoption application. The 5 kittens in this litter being fostered together are Tiger, Lucky, Striper, Lisa and Bella
An adoption application must be submitted prior to making an appointment for a meet and greet. Adoption applications can be completed by clicking on this link http://angelsonwheels.org/feline-adoption-application/ Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but is required prior to making arrangements for a meet and greet as all of our animals are cared for in homes. We can't schedule meet and greets until the application is submitted and approved.
The adoption fee of $150.00 includes:
Spaying/Neutering when he is old enough, you will receive a coupon with our participating vets so the rescue pays for it,
Microchip,
Up-to-date on routine vaccination for distemper-FVRCP
Regular deworming while in our care
Received Ponazuril as a
Tested for Felv which was negative
Tested for FIV, which was negative,
Treated with either revolution then repeated 2 weeks later,
Rabies vaccination if over 4 months.
This kitten is too young to be fixed, so you will receive a spay/neuter coupon to one of our participating vets to have that procedure done when they are old enough. There is fully refundable $100.00 spay/neuter deposit. We hold the check, and do not cash it. Once the kitten is fixed, you email us and we will void your check. The foster will explain that in more detail at the meet and greet.
You will also receive a free health exam visit to either Crest Hill Cat and Dog Clinic, Yorkville Animal Hospital, Midwest Animal Hospital in Orland Park, Woodridge Animal Hospital, Wheaton Animal Hospital, or Naperville Animal Hospital.
