Hey, there! My name is Blackberry. If you haven't already guessed, I'm the mostly black cat in the pictures above. I love to cuddle and lick my very best friend Frisco, the orange cat next to me in the photos. This is our very, very sad story. I'm going to tell you since Frisco is the shier of the two of us.
A long time ago, when we were very little, Frisco and I were rescued off the streets. At the time, I had only seen Frisco from afar, but we got to know each other on the way to the shelter. I didn't see much of Frisco once we got to the shelter, though, because I was adopted soon after my arrival. My adopters told me I had found a forever home, but, I guess forever isn't as long as I thought. Within months, I found myself back at the shelter. I was sad, but, from what I heard, Frisco went through the same thing. After Frisco returned to the shelter, he bonded with another cat, but she eventually got adopted. I guess the people who adopted her didn't want a second cat, though, because Frisco stayed all by himself, alone and sad. Thankfully, our rescuers decided to put Frisco and I together. With me by his side, Frisco became happier! We stay with this very amazing woman now. Although she isn't our permanent home, she takes care of us, and we love her. Because we have been through some very painful stuff, Frisco and I need to be together. We are like brothers and can't be apart. Frisco, especially, gets really sad when we're apart. I don't get too sad, but I miss him if he's far from me too long. Will you give us our forever home?
