Noland and Lisa were taken to their vet by their owners. They were surprised when time went on and on, and their owners never came back to get them. They thought they were there to get their annual check-up and to be boarded for a few days. But, no. Apparently their owners didn't care as much about them as they cared about their owners. Lisa and Noland were extremely sad, and they were afraid of their future. Enter, Rescue! Their vet asked Crossing Paths to take them and find them a good home. Both dogs had been together for a while, and they feel like brother and sister. Lisa is a 2 year old Spaniel/Shepherd mix with a beautiful long coat of black and tan. She weighs 32 lbs. Noland is a Shepherd mix, and he is only about 15 months old. He weighs almost 29 lbs. His beautiful coat is also black and tan, like Lisa's, but his is short.
Both Lisa and Noland, good friends, want to be your good friends, too. They love to play with each other, their canine buddies, and also people! They are loving and understanding of what loyalty is . Although they have not learned that from their previous owners, they have learned it from each other. And they will be loyal to you. Although not a requirement, we would like to see them adopted together, if possible. After all, they are like brother and sister and shared the pain of abandonment. It would be wonderful if they could stay together. (posted 6/26/16, ME, N/A)
