Meet "Taffy" She is a adorable & silly, sweet 13 pound 18 month old spayed Female Pomeranian.Taffy is seeking a home that is semi active, easy going and routine. Adoption fee: 575
About Taffy: She is active and playful. Taffy is the sweetest most expressive loving little girl. She walks well on a leash, knows sit and is potty trained. Her fur is a beautiful Golden Reddish and will reuire grooming every 6-8 weeks. Taffy is spayed, microchipped, and current with all vaccines.
Taffy's story: Taffy was originally adopted from a high kill shelter in CA by a private adopter. 2 weeks after the adoption she fell down 3 flights of stairs resulting in a broken leg. The owners "self wrapped" the leg and left it 5 weeks before reaching out to surrender to us. 3 Orthopedic surgeries later, physical therapy, alot of love and her leg and knee are healed. She will have a full functioning life and has a clean bill of health. Taffy has many fans and supporters who have help her through the journey to get better. Without her team she would have lost her leg. Taffy is a special girl who is seeking that special someone who will love and cherish her for the rest of her life. She would enjoy the company of another furry friend if not she would love to go to doggy daycare or be fine with a dog walking service. A fenced yard is required if a home owner and supervision is required if in the backyard. A condo situation is ok too. Taffy can walk fine up and down stairs. No exceesive running or jogging for Taffy. Daily walks and play time with plush toys would be ideal. Taffy likes going for walks on the beach and exploring trails. Per adoption contract all rescue dogs must be kept on a leash and no off leash dog parks.Taffy's adoption also includes 30 days free pet insurance through Pets First.
Taffy's medical bills ran over 10,000. We are fortunate to have had great support throughout her journey. 6dogrees Rescue is a very small 501c3 non profit rescue and we still owe 5,000 on her bill. The important thing is that she whole again and didn't lose her life or her leg. Donations are welcome in any amount and can be donated directly on our website at 6dogrees Rescue is a full disclosure rescue. We will share our vets number regarding questions. If interested please submit an online adoption application at and we will review and get back to you promptly.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

"Taffy", a Seattle Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian for sale in Seattle, or seeking a Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Seattle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seattle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seattle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seattle paves the way for another one to be saved.
