Max's Story...
Max
Male Mature adult German Shepherd.

Pulled from Enid Animal Control.

Calm and slow greetings help Max make friends more quickly! A little anxious in new situations but a charming dog who is searching for a gentle loving owner with a easy lifestyle. Max walks well on a leash and seems to know some basic commands and obedience. Prefers women over men but is accepting of a man's presence and touch. Max gets along well with small & large laid back dogs that are seeking an easy going companion. Wants nothing more then to live a happy life with his adoptive family and be the best dog he can be. Wants to sit at your feet, walks by your side, and total devoted companion. Looking for his special family and we know they are out there somewhere! Max needs a family that will be as devoted to him as he is to his family! You won't find a more grateful and loving dog then Max!

Adoption fee covers (if not done already) vaccinations, spay/neuter, and flea/tick/de-worming treatments.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max, a Woodward German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Woodward, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Woodward.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Woodward already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Woodward breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Woodward paves the way for another one to be saved.
