Lucy Ball's Story...
Lucy Is approx. 9 years old and approx.10 lbs. She is looking for a good home to finish out her doggy life. She is very calm and lovable and wants to spend all of her time on your lap. She has a heart condition and will be on heart medication forever. But her heart condition does not stop her from playing. Her only experience with children is on adoption day at Petco. She appears to like them, but no garenteers. She is up to date on her shots, microchipped, and spayed. She is pretty much potty trained and leash trained. She is being fostered by Saving Angels Rescue. They have many small dogs up for adoption. If you are interested in this young lady or another dog please send us an email and we will contact you as soon as possible or come to Petco on Saturday to see some of the other dogs up for adoption. Please check with us before coming to Petco, as there are some Saturday's we are not there. We do a house check with each adoption, so we ask only those in a reasonable driving distance inquire about her. Lucy BallLucy Ball

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucy Ball, a Inverness Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Inverness, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Inverness.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Inverness already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Inverness breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Inverness paves the way for another one to be saved.
