My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Woodchip (aka Woody) is from what was dubbed the woodpile kittens. Literally he, his brother and his sister were found with their mom in a pile of wood. A nice person took all of them in when the kittens were approximately 3 weeks old. Once they were old enough to leave mom, they were happy playing and growing up in a foster home.

Woody loves his food and his toys. When he has a quiet moment, he would enjoy sitting on your lap and will occasionally stretch up to your face and sniff you. Being your typical playful kitten, Woody needs to have another kitten (perhaps one of his siblings), or friendly young cat at home to play and snuggle with. Woodchip and his siblings are not shy at all and will transition easily into your home :).

Behaviorally and socially, it’s best to adopt kittens in pairs, or into a home with a playful cat. Kittens really need a playmate in their forever home…and then they can get to play, and snuggle while you're not home.

If you are only interested in adopting a single kitten, and you’re home most of the day, and able to spend interactive time with a kitten, we will consider adopting out a kitten older than 4 months. Each foster home knows the kitten’s personalities best, and we follow their recommendations for single placements.

Woodchip's estimated date of birth is 4/18/16. His adoption fee of $135 includes his vet exam, FVRCP vaccinations, FIV & Feline Leukemia testing (neg), routine deworming, flea control, microchip and neuter.
