Porkchop-Adopted!'s Story...
Porkchop is one of Dulcinea's litter of 7 born approx 5/16/16. They were rescued from the streets and are now looking for their perfect furever homes.
My name is Porkchop and I am a precious puppy with a beautiful silver/gray coat and striking gray eyes. I am a little shadow to my foster mom, following her everywhere around the yard when we go out to the garden. I love to lay in the grass and stretch out in the sun or under a shade tree when I get too hot. I am working on house breaking, but am a rockstar at sitting nicely on command to get a treat. I've also started working on the 'down' command and love to please! I'm great with other dogs, cats and children. Once you meet me, you will want to take me home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Porkchop-Adopted!, a Detroit Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Detroit, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy from a breeder in Detroit.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Detroit already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Detroit breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Detroit paves the way for another one to be saved.
