My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Drago is a male German Shepherd puppy, estimated to be about 16 weeks old.  He's very large for his age and growing quickly -- we expect him eventually to grow to be 85 pounds or larger.

He's an unusual puppy because of his calm disposition.  He quietly watches and absorbs everything going on around him.  In fact, he might be the calmest puppy we've ever seen. 

He's very smart, but he's not especially confident.  He has come out of his shell in his foster home and seems to like having other confident dogs around him.  He's a natural "beta" dog:  he avoids confrontation, has no desire to be the boss, and easily submits to other dogs.

He loves to go for walks, and he walks well on a leash.  He already knows how to play fetch.  He also loves playing with other dogs.   He has also done very well with all the children he's met.

He's already crate-trained and house-trained, and he sleeps through the night (about 6 hours). 

Drago is looking for an active home that will continue to build his confidence through positive training and introducing him gradually to new experiences.  We think he would do best in a home with another well-socialized dog that he can follow and learn from.

A completed adoption application, with vet and personal references, and a home check are required to apply to adopt.
