“Hi, I’m Reuben and play is my middle name! I love playing with toys, chewing on my Kong, and playing fetch in the yard. I love playing with other dogs and don’t mind cats. I walk great on a leash and know a few commands (sit, shake, and lay down). I am still working on my puppy manners; I don’t know how big I am yet. When you leave me alone I need to be put in a crate because it makes me feel safe; plus I get bored and like to chew. My forever home should have a fenced in backyard, patient parents, and no toddler/small children (at least until I figure out how big I am ; I wouldn’t want to accidentally knock someone over). I’m all puppy now, but turning into a perfect family dog. Would you like to meet me?” Reuben is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. To learn more or apply to adopt, please visit www.ihadro.org!

Our Adoption Process...

Our foster application process is the same as our adoption process. We want to ensure our dogs are matched with the right family and home situation. You must be 21 years or older to foster or adopt and a home check is required for every application. Our adoption fee is $175. This fee covers part of the cost of pulling the dog from animal control, ensuring the dog is fully vetted with all shots, and spayed or neutered before the adoption is final.
