Piglet's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Piglet's Story...
Piglet is a 4 year old male chihuahua (born 7/15/2012) and all he really wants is someone to love on - a lot! He's pretty shy at first, but if you just give him a few minutes, he will end up your best buddy.

Piglet has THE softest coat ever. He's a total lover, housebroken and has to have a toy with him at all times. He's a clown and will keep you laughing.

He's good with other dogs but we're not sure about cats or kids yet.

His adoption fee is $150 and includes age-appropriate shots, worming, microchip, neuter. An approved application is required (which can be found here: http://pawsitivetailsrescue.org/our-adoptable-pets/pawsitive-tails-rescue-dog-adoption-application-form/), as is an adoption contract.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Piglet, a Torrington Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Torrington, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Torrington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Torrington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Torrington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Torrington paves the way for another one to be saved.
