Parsnip (ETAA)'s Story...
Parsnip is a spirited tiny lady and a wonderful mother to her four kittens. Parsnip was found in the woods as a young pregnant cat, and her confident, self-sufficient mannerisms have remained throughout her stay with her foster family. She is very sweet and open to attention, but she also likes to hang out on her own and have things her way. She would be a great fit for someone who wants a loving cat that still acts like a cat. She would be better fit for a household without children, dogs, or other cats.
If you think this is the one for you please email poochesandpurrs1@gmail.com and ask for a "kitty specific" application! Our auto response will only like to a dog app so it's important you get a kitty app in order to be considered

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Parsnip (ETAA), a Albany Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Albany, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Albany.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Albany already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Albany breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Albany paves the way for another one to be saved.
