Hi there! My name is Mila. I was born in the rescue on April 11, 2016. I've never known a bad day. I'm not even aware that I'm homeless. I am a sweet girl. My sister Bou is also looking for a home. We are best friends and do everything together. We play, eat and sleep side-by-side. We love each other and we love people. We are friendly, affectionate and playful. We are both litterbox trained. We love to play with toys and to pounce on each other. We get along well with other kitties too. I am a gorgeous black and white kitten and Bou is a beautiful all-black kitten. We will be spayed prior to adoption. Please give us a chance! Kittens do better in pairs, so consider adopting us both so that we can stay together! Adoption fee: $100. Adopt a pair: $150. Fee includes testing, deworming, vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip and 60 days of free pet insurance.

Sunday, August 28: Adoption Event at PetPeople, 6520 Telegraph Rd, Bloomfield Hills. From noon to 4 p.m. on the fourth Sunday each month, come meet adoptable dogs, cats, puppies and kittens (as available - not all adoptable animals will be at every event). Event dates for 2016: August 28, September 25, October 23, November 27 and December 18.
Saturday, September 3: Adoption Event at Petco, 29335 Orchard Lake Rd, Farmington Hills (just south of 13 Mile Rd). From noon to 4 p.m., come meet adoptable dogs, cats, puppies and kittens (as available - not all adoptable animals will be at every event). Adoption event dates for 2016: September 3, September 17, October 1, October 15, November 5, November 19, December 3 and December 17.
Adoption Process: Complete the application at
www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
