Bio: Triona came to Circle Tail as a puppy and quickly began learning basic obedience and some advanced obedience. She was adopted and had found her forever home... However, Triona's owner became ill and wasn't able to care for her any longer, so she brought her back to Circle Tail. Triona is a sweet girl seeking her forever home once again. Don't let those colors fool you though, her mom was a full blooded Labrador retriever and the dad is unknown. We are guessing maybe Plot hound mix. She has medium to high energy and needs a home where she can get lots of exercise and play time. She loves people and would enjoy having another dog to play with. She does better when she has another dog to spend her days with, and gets upset when she is separated from them. She enjoys kids of all ages, but she sometimes can knock over the smaller ones with her enthusiasm. She is house trained, but doesn't like being in a crate.

Circle Tail is located about 30 miles northeast of downtown Cincinnati. Because many of our dogs are housed off-site, ADOPTIONS ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. If you are interested in this dog, please submit your online pre-adoption questionnaire form that is located on our website at We will then contact you for further discussion, make arrangements for you to meet the dog and complete the adoption process.

Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Pleasant Plain, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Pleasant Plain.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pleasant Plain already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pleasant Plain breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pleasant Plain paves the way for another one to be saved.
