Facts about Phoenix

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Orange Or Red
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Short
Phoenix was rescued from a house fire by the Red Cross. She was covered with soot but luckily no burns. She is now in good health but is terribly overweight. She will need to be on a strict diet in her new home and will be provided her diet food. Our foster has many cats and "free feeds" but, of course, that doesn't work! Phoenix wants to be an only cat so she doesn't get along well with other cats. She's good with dogs and teens but is not thrilled with toddlers. She has all her shots, spayed and combo tested. She is a wonderful kitty who loves to curl up and sleep in your lap! If you're interested, please e-mail your name, address, phone number and a VET REFERENCE to thesterileferal@gmail.com.

About The Sterile Feral

About Our Rescue Group...

The Sterile Feral is a non-profit organization dedicated to the Trap-Neuter-Release of feral cats and kittens in Floyd County. Occasionally, we may find a cat or kittens that can be socialized and adopted into loving forever homes. These socialized creatures make up our adoption program.

Come Meet Our Pets...

All of our cats are housed at Mount Berry Animal Hospital in Rome where they can be seen Monday through Saturdays. Please call ahead to make sure the kitty you're interested in is still available.

Our Adoption Process...

Vet reference, adoption application and adoption fee is $50 to $125 depending on the age of the kitty. Your vet reference and a face-to-face meeting is very important to our organization.
