Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Mya's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Mya's Story...
HIHIHI!!! My name is Maximus, and I am a VERY handsome fellow! I don't like to brag, but not only do I have the looks, but I have the brains, too!! I can sit, lay down, and even shake! Isn't that cool? My foster mom says I am an angel!! Well, I don't really know about all that, but I will certainly gloat a bit about the compliment!

I am even crate trained & housebroken! I do like to mark my territory, but my foster mom has been using these belly band things on me.. and you know what? When she does, I don't even try to mark. I am a quick learner! I love to play, but I am a big time cuddler, too. I love to curl up on the sofa with you and a blankie and just relax. Of course, I'll have to get under that blankie!!! But, I am a MinPin after all!! We all sure love to get under those blankies!!

I am a good boy with my foster furbrothers and sisters. I do like to try and take control and be the boss sometimes, so a home without small children would probably be best for me. OH, and I have to tell you, I DO NOT like kitties!! There is one here and I just love to torment her!! It has become one of my favorite things to do!!!!

My story isn't so bad. I came to Friends of Penny from another rescue out in Nebraska!! I got to ride on an airplane, which was pretty cool. My old owners couldn't keep me and turned me into the HUA (Hearts United for Animals) rescue (you can visit them and THANK THEM for saving me... ). So, it can get pretty cold in Nebraska and the nice people at HUA decided that I would be better where its WARM.. so SUNNY NORTH CAROLINA, here I come!! The nice folks at Friends of Penny welcomed me with open arms and promised that I would soon find my new furever family. Are you that family???

I am neutered, microchipped, up to date on all my vaccinations, and on heartworm preventative. So basically, I am ready to go!! If you think that you could be the perfect home for a handsome little devil like ME, please submit your application today and indicate that you are applying for ME, MAXIMUS!!! If not, thanks for looking and don't forget to check out my furbrothers and sisters here at Friends of Penny! We are all special in our own way!!

Well.. if you have any questions about me, you can contact my foster mom at . I think I just heard a squeaky toy!! Bye for now!!!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mya, a Greensboro Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in Greensboro, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Greensboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greensboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greensboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greensboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
