The name Karlo has Germanic roots meaning free man, which is appropriate given the fact that this guy was rescued from a kill shelter right in the nick of time! Karlo is an adorable Havapoo with an equally adorable underbite. Karlo is currently loving life in a comfortable foster home. His foster dad tells us that Karlo is very low-maintenance and isn’t destructive at all around the apartment. He enjoys playing with his toys and learning new tricks. This smart cookie was house-trained within a couple weeks! Karlo can be a tad hesitant around new people, but given just a little time to trust any newcomers, Karlo turns into a total snuggle bug. Once you get to know him, you’ll find that Karlo has a very sweet, friendly, loving, and engaging personality. He was in a large play group with other smaller dogs at TBL, though given proper introduction, we’re sure he’d do fine with larger dogs as well. Karlo is a great compact size of just 9 pounds, and he turns 4 in May 2017. His goofy mad scientist hairdo is very low-shedding (great for those more prone to doggie allergies), and his coat will require grooming from time to time to keep in tip top condition. Don’t miss out on your chance to meet Karlo for yourself!
